Engineer by profession, but my heart has always been in the creative world. For over a decade, photography has been my passion—starting as a hobby, then growing into something much more. These days, I pour my creativity into wedding photography, where I get to capture the raw, unscripted magic of love stories as they unfold.

There’s nothing I love more than connecting with new people, hearing their stories, and turning fleeting moments into timeless memories. Weddings are the perfect mix of all the things that inspire me—emotion, adventure, and human connection. I believe the best photos happen when you’re truly in the moment, so I bring a relaxed, stress-free energy to every shoot. If you’re having the best time, your photos will reflect that.

Beyond photography, I’m an adventurer at heart. You’ll often find me hiking up a mountain at sunrise, chasing sunsets by the beach, or flying my FPV drones to film the world from above. Hey, I’m Dasun!

If there’s one thing to know about me, I’m always up for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking through the Rockies, road-tripping to a hidden elopement spot, or cycling down country roads just to chase the sunset, I say yes to the journey every time. I lead the Canada chapter of Wed Vows, and it’s been an incredible ride capturing love stories across this beautiful country.

What I love most about wedding photography is the connection. Meeting new people, hearing their stories, and being trusted to document one of the most meaningful days of their lives, it’s a privilege I never take for granted. I keep things relaxed, fun, and real, because I believe the best photos happen when you’re just being yourselves.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me out exploring, on a mountain trail with my cam, cruising through the countryside on my bike, or sitting by a campfire under the stars. I live for spontaneous detours and unexpected views. I’m also the guy who’ll convince you to take the long way just to catch a better sunset—and trust me, it’s always worth it.
